How Do I Decide Which Plan to Purchase?
The PetPartners Pet Healthcare Plan offers several plan options to
meet your particular needs.
Consider the maximum coverage amounts per incident and over the lifetime of your plan. Each plan
has its own maximum coverage amount. You may want to pay a higher premium for more extensive coverage.
Ask yourself these questions:
- Do you want pet insurance primarily to guard against major problems and catastrophes (Choose from our Essential Plans).
Would you also like coverage for preventive care? (Choose from our Wellness Plans)
- What do you currently spend on veterinary care? Evaluate how the various plans might have helped you in the past year.
- Look at your veterinary receipts for the past year. If you have
not kept your receipts, you can ask your veterinarian's office to provide you with this information.
- Next, determine what would probably be covered under the PetPartners Pet
Healthcare Plan you are considering. Remember:
- Do you intend to spay or neuter your pet? The Wellness Plus Plan covers
this operation as an elective procedure.
- Is it time for a dental cleaning? The Wellness plans cover this service.
- Consider all the costs of prevention and routine care.
